Background:
Holly is an Associate Professor in the School of Nurse Anesthesia. She completed her EdD at Bryan College of Health Sciences in 2020. In 2004 she graduated from Mount Marty Nurse Anesthesia program in South Dakota with a Masters Degree. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree Healthcare Management from Bellevue University 2000, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from College of Saint Mary's in Omaha Ne in 1995. Dr. Chandler has been involved in leadership in a multitude of areas in the CRNA profession. She is a former President of the Nebraska Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and has served on their Board of Directors for over a decade. She presents on a national and local level. Further, she co-led action research for revision of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Nursing Workforce Survey in 2018 which has aided in valuable data which assists in the healthcare workforce shortage. Dr. Chandler co-led the successful opposition to the Anesthesia Assistant 407 proposal here in Nebraska beginning in May of 2022 and ending in March of 2023.
