Background:

I worked as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer for 7 years prior to coming back to Bryan to teach. During that time, I worked for a mobile ultrasound service as a part of Saint Elizabeth Hospital. We would travel to small towns in southeast Nebraska and provide ultrasound services to smaller rural hospitals that didn't have their own sonographers on staff. It was a wonderful experience getting to travel and work with several different people and hospital systems. I built lasting relationships with many in the medical field that I cherish today.
